Do Good.

We go through phases in life, we meet people and part with people. Emotions go through us, love, happiness, anger, hatred, peace, despair and many more. We touch people's lives, knowingly or sometimes without the slightest hint. We love to think of ourselves as God fearing people. To us, God is not just an ever loving and mighty God, but also our silent friend in sin and in righteousness. We tithe and follow all customs of the church. We have given up our lives so that God may live through us. We are God's people.

The greatest achievement that man can have is to reach a point that he is at one with His creator. This means not merely loving each other and doing good, but seeing other people through the eyes of Jesus. We all have a picture of who Jesus is, so whenever we meet people, we should ask ourselves, how would our savior see them, feel about them, and most importantly what would he say to them.

True Christians should embody the personae of Christ each and every day of their lives. We should never forget that we have a personal responsibility to emulate the character of Jesus here on earth in all our walks of life. That's the way that we shall draw throngs of people to Christ.

May your heart's character draw people to the kingdom.

Be one with yourself, and God.

We can never go through life without complex issues that defines who we are. Everyone of us goes through something that within the realm of their intellects seems challenging to say the least. Sometimes, even within the realm of fellow humans, what we go through may be an insurmountable task and often times, we are the only ones who see the complexity of an issue that we are going through. Who is better positioned to know where the shoe pinches most but its wearer?

We often times deal with these issues in a myriad of ways, some good, and others bad, some praiseworthy and others condemnable, some we handle them idiotically and others totally splendid. Within the fabric of our own personal DNA structure, lies our personae, that which makes you sulk and cry in the face of frustrating challenges, that which makes you do some things different from your peers as well as that which defines who you really are.

Society will try to put its own imprints on our mind on what is right or wrong, we may be ostracized and condemned for following a certain path in life. We sometimes tend to believe that we are wrong on our manner of dealing with things and we end up trying to do what others are doing forgetting that we are all differently molded and that some individuals are well suited for certain remedies but not us.

The solution is simple, being one with yourself and God. When you are one with yourself, you acquire a greater understanding of who you are, one that not even your own parents can ever attain. When you are one with yourself, you will want to do the things that will benefit the self in you, and things that will make you happy. When you are one with God, you are one with the silent voice of reason within your heart that silently whispers and tells you that "I am because we are" and hence motivates you to do good to all mankind. The voice of reason that is God will motivate you to look outwardly for a solution to your problems and to practice true religion of helping the needy. There is not much more satisfaction.

Who told you?

When i wake up each morning, I kneel down to say a prayer, to the author of life. I rack up my brain trying to articulate what to say to the one without whom i would not even be able to wake up in the morning. I form an image of my creator in my brain which my limited knowledge tells me that its nothing close to who He is, but i nonetheless give Him a human form, one which my humanly mind can relate to. I think about life, and I see formless images that needs moulding; I see debris that needs picking up, broken hearts that needs to be mended and tears that needs to be wiped. I see countless sins that needs to be pardoned and moreso, i see a man laddened by life's turmoil. Then i open my mouth to say a word and then i hear a silent voice in my heart. A still silent voice. The unmistakable voice of a power greater than I am. And the voice says, "I will guide your steps my son." And I open my eyes and sigh in relief knowing that my steps are guided.
